Great product at a fair price November 12, 2008 Bill (Eastern, North Carolina) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
Originally purchased a "look alike product" online. Would not hold a charge! Advice: Buy only OEM and don't waste $20.00. The product I ordered from Amazon was a sony product and worked flawlessly. Good product, best price and quick delivery.
Shows you remaining minutes August 22, 2009 Gadgester (Mother Earth) 11 out of 12 found this review helpful
This NP-FD1 battery is of the same size and capacity as the NP-BD1 battery that came with your Sony digital camera. This means it's slim and takes the same number of shots. The difference is the FD1 is an "InfoLithium" battery (Sony's trademark) and it tells you the approximate remaining minutes on the camera LCD screen. This estimate is not completely accurate, but does give you a rough idea of how much longer you can use your camera before battery runs down. Note that the indicator is number of remaining minutes, not number of shots.
BTW, while generic replacements for the BD1 battery abound (but I don't recommend using a non-OEM LiIon battery for safety reasons), I haven't seen one for the FD1, presumable because this one uses Sony's proprietary time-estimating technology.
Like the addition of time remaining July 6, 2008 Whip (Pinehurst) 11 out of 13 found this review helpful
I was pleasantly surprised when I first inserted what I bought to be a backup battery for my trip and found it calculated the time remaining for battery life. It is now my primary battery.
Works like a charm in my Sony T70 camera.
SONY NPFD1 BATTERY July 29, 2008 G. W. OMary (CA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The battery was delivered very quickly and is working great in my camera. I especially like the feature showing the time remaining on the battery's charge - very helpful.
A Must! May 29, 2009 M. Hailey (St. Louis) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
You will definitely want this battery pack. I use it as my primary battery and use the one that came with my Sony T900 as a backup. I like this one because it tells you on the LCD screen how much time you have left. Also, it is less expensive than if you bought it at Best Buy.
